Broadway fans, it looks like one of the most talked-about productions of 2023 is finding a new home on the Great White Way.

In October 2023, theater aficionados flocked to the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey to see Newsies alum Jeremy Jordan and former Hadestown actress Eva Noblezada star in a musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. After a successful run that ended a month later in November, folks were stunned when Jeremy went on Instagram to drop thrilling news about the show's future. In a clip where he walked through parts of New York City, the actor announced The Great Gatsby will debut on Broadway (which starts previews on March 29 and opens on April 25) at the Broadway Theatre in Times Square. And if that's not enough, tickets are already available for fans to purchase ahead of the first show.

"And when the party’s over, can we find another party somewhere? 🥂," he captioned the snippet on January 16.

When fans caught wind of Jeremy's thrilling update, it didn't take long for a rush of excitement to flood through the comments.

"LET’S GO!!!!! 🍸💛🎇," one person declared on Instagram. "Um … screaming, crying, throwing up," another agreed. "NO FREAKING WAY!!! I HAVE TO SEE THIS 😍🥰," a different follower added.

While presently, only Jeremy and Eva are slated to reprise their lead roles as Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan in the Broadway version of The Great Gatsby, it likely won't be long before we hear more news about the incoming cast. Additionally, per Playbill, it looks like the cast and creative minds behind the production are ecstatic to bring the musical to new audiences come this spring.

"I am passionate about producing this show because it provides a modern audience with the true essence of idealism that is expressed eloquently in the novel and now on stage," said the show's lead producer Chunsoo Shin in an official statement. "The Great Gatsby is a masterpiece that grows and changes as it's experienced by each new generation, in every culture, and people—and yet, still maintains its uniqueness, with its fascinating characters that burst with vitality."

Looks like we'll need to buy show tickets very soon!
