Exclusive: Brittany Snow Marries Tyler Stanaland in Malibu Wedding
Say, “Aca-marriage.” Actress Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland are officially husband and wife, their rep confirms to The Knot. The couple married in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Malibu on Saturday, March 14.
The wedding bookends the first installment of their sweet love story. The Cali-based couple, who long knew of each other through mutual friends, didn’t meet until several years ago after the real estate agent mustered up enough courage to contact the actress on Instagram. From there, they eventually connected in person.
“I knew of Britt for obvious reasons,” Stanaland previously told The Knot. “But Britt was my unattainable crush forever. As a man, I used to watch ‘Pitch Perfect’ with friends and, ‘Brittany Snow… One day.’ But never thinking it would ever happen.”
Ultimately, he was the one to make it happen. “I sent a direct message with the most embarrassing pickup line. A dad joke,” he laughed. “I’m so surprised we’re getting married.”
The pair dated from 2018 on before Stanaland proposed with a round brilliant diamond ring in January 2019.
Prior to the wedding day, the duo tackled wedding planning like a team. Both registered on The Knot for everything ranging from products for their respective interests to shared additions to their home.
While the first photos from the wedding have yet to be revealed, Stanaland teased the nuptials last month as “casual, memorable and loving.” Snow added that the occasion would be “timeless, happy and hearty.”
“I’m going to be crying like a baby,” Stanaland remarked. “I’m an ugly crier.”
“I’m probably going to cry,” Snow concluded. “And you’re the cutest crier.”
