Brittany & Patrick Mahomes' Babies Are All About Sports — Even on Vacation

You can take the Mahomes babies out of Kansas City, but those two tots seem to have sports on the brain wherever they go.
On Monday, Brittany Mahomes gave her Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes look at the tropical vacation she and three-time Super Bowl-winning husband Patrick Mahomes are enjoying with their two kids. The former professional soccer player posted a carousel of photos, which she simply captioned “Fam🤍,” sharing a variety of sweet snaps — including a few of their daughter Sterling, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” III, 1, that highlight their inherited love for sports.

Getting Sporty Under the Sun
One adorable photo captured the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback on a scenic golf course with Sterling. Patrick squatted down behind his daughter, putting an arm around the little girl as they both wore beaming smiles.
Another shot showed a very, very serious Bronze clutching a football to his side — in addition to his hilariously somber expression, you may get a giggle out of the fact that the football is just about as big as he is.

Other pictures shared by Brittany include a few romantic night shots with Patrick, a cute candid moment of the doting dad holding both kids on his lap, and some precious poolside snaps of Sterling. The Kansas City Current co-owner was showered with love in the comments, with adoring fans writing, “Best family ❤,” “Sweet times! Enjoy every moment,” “Awwwww so cute I love this!!” and more.
Many shared their thoughts on the Mahomes babies’ early love for sports, with one Instagram user commenting, “Somebody needs a golf coach! ⛳️.” Another follower wrote, “Bronze always looks serious and locked in like dad 🙌💙,” and someone else funnily quipped, “Bronze’s emotional support football 🏈.”
A Family History of Athleticism
Besides Patrick’s record-breaking rise to the top of the NFL, Brittany also enjoyed an early career as an international soccer star. The mom of two played forward for the University of Texas at Tyler, and after graduating, she joined Iceland’s UMF Afturelding/Fram team. Brittany ultimately hung up her cleats after a year, choosing to move back to the States to be with Patrick after helping the international team win a championship in her first season.
Additionally, Patrick’s father, Pat Mahomes Sr., competed in Major League Baseball for over a decade. Sports are in this family’s genes, and Sterling and Bronze’s fascination with athletics from such a young age is proof of that!

Time will tell if the youngest members of the Mahomes family pursue sports at a high level, but Patrick said it best during a 2022 episode of Football in America: “I’m going to help teach my son, my daughter, all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn. But at the same time, I want to stay out of the way and let it be about them.”
The MVP-winning quarterback added, “That’s what my dad did growing up, that’s what my parents did. They let it be about me, let me out there and have fun, they didn’t pressure me to do anything. I think that’s why I’m in the position I am today.”
