Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick Mahomes #15 of the Kansas City Chiefs

From the looks of it, Brittany Mahomes is not concerned with what people think about her.

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to social media with a blunt response to fans, after she caught backlash for her alleged "high horse" attitude toward football stadium employees.

“I take rumors as a compliment,” the post she re-shared via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Jan. 31 read—a clear message meant to shut down naysayers attempting to attack her character. Additionally, the post continued, “The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered."

In case you missed it, a TikTok video posted by CBS after the AFC Championship game in Baltimore on Sunday, Jan. 28 went viral this week after it depicted Brittany appearing to be rude when she became confused about where to go.

"Mahomes wife needs to get off her high horse,” commented one viewer, while another agreed she came off "so extra" during the interaction.

And unfortunately for the fitness enthusiast, this isn't the first time she’s been called out for treating people in such a way. TikToker Jessica O’Connor once shared a separate experience with the NFL wife, accusing her of skipping out on tipping an entire hotel staff after an alleged days-long stay at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood during her wedding dress search before she and Patrick's Hawaii nuptials in 2022.

Adversely, while the mom of two has come under fire for being not-so-pleasant, newly-minted Chiefs WAG Taylor Swift—who is dating the team's record-breaking tight end Travis Kelce—has been praised over the entirety of the football season for her kind gestures and down-to-earth personality.

The pop singer has made headlines over the past several months for stopping to chat and take photos with stadium employees, generously handing out $100 bill tips, and even making a few football fans' kids' day with impromptu meet-and-greets.
