April 1, 2012: The couple first start dating. That's what we can gather, anyway, by a deep dive on Brittany's Instagram. On July 1 of that year, Brittany posted on Instagram “3 months with the best guy I could ask for!” So if this isn't their actual real anniversary, it's a pretty close guess.

February 2012: Brittany and Patrick meet in middle school but don't start dating until high school. “We kinda met in seventh, eighth grade,” Patrick would reveal of their early years in the 2023 Netflix docuseries Quarterback. “She was the grade above me. I was kind of the best friend, in the friend zone forever.”

Patrick finally managed to exit the friend zone when he gifted Brittany a rose on Valentine’s Day during his sophomore year of high school. “He thought it was a joke,” Brittany would recall in the docuseries. “I thought it was the cutest thing in the world. And then everyone at our lunch table started chanting, ‘Kiss him, kiss him,’ and made it really awkward cause we were ‘just friends,’ so that’s kind of what started it and then I thought it was cute.”

If you're wondering, both of them were 16 at the time. Here's another throwback photo, just before they started dating. We can't even!
