Britney Spears

Britney Spears seemed to be feeling familial love recently, as she made a tribute post on social media for her older brother Bryan Spears, showering him with compliments.

The singer posted a photo of Bryan, 46, on Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 28, showing her brother wearing what looked to be a bright green jumpsuit with a dark blue hard hat and a flashlight positioned at the top of his head.

Britney wrote, "My big brother who’s like a dad and my best friend!! Not sure what’s going on with this outfit though 😂😂😂🧐🙄!!!"

Her new post appreciating her brother comes not long after the release of her memoir, The Woman in Me, which came out on Oct. 24. In the revealing book, Britney spoke a bit about her family dynamics and issues she faced over the years.

When Britney married Sam Asghari in June 2022, there were reports that Bryan was the only member of the Spears family to receive an invitation and didn't end up attending because his daughter's elementary school graduation was that day.

His girlfriend Amber Lynn Conklin wrote on social media, via Page Six, "Bryan felt terrible having to choose but he had to be there for his daughter and sent his love to Britney x1000000 💖💖💖."

But not long after the wedding, Britney allegedly addressed her brother in a since-deleted Instagram post, via People, "You were never invited to my wedding [bride Emoji] so why even respond???"

It's unclear if the siblings have reconciled or had any contact since these comments, although Extra reported that a source said Bryan has been supporting Britney recently as she goes through her divorce.

As for Britney's other sibling, her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears, the two appear to also have a very up-and-down relationship. She wrote in her memoir, "She will always be my sister, and I love her and her beautiful family. I’m working to feel more compassion than anger toward her, and everyone who I feel has wronged me. It’s not that easy."

Britney and Jamie Lynn reportedly reunited this past summer, with Britney allegedly even visiting her little sister on the set of her film, Zoey 102.
