Britney Spears Calls Out Fake Supporters and Critics on Instagram

Britney Spears isn't pulling any punches as she opens up about her conservatorship battle on social media.
The pop star posted a series of candid messages on her Instagram Saturday, expressing her thoughts on the world's response to her conservatorship battle and specifically calling out members of her family and inner circle. The posts come after Spears received permission to hire her own representation and openly supported the #FreeBritney movement for the first time ever last week.
In the first post, Spears shared a quote on Instagram, reading "Never forget who ignored you when you needed them and who helped you before you even had to ask." In the caption, she addressed people close to her who have publicly expressed support recently after they did not help her privately.
"How dare the people you love the most say anything at all … did they even put a hand out to even lift me up at the TIME !!!??? How dare you make it public that NOW you CARE … did you put your hand out when I was drowning ????" she wrote.
She added, "so if you're reading this and you know who you are … and you actually have the nerve to say anything about my situation just to save face for yourself publicly !!! If you're gonna post something …. Please stop with the righteous approach when you're so far from righteous it's not even funny …. 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 and have a good day !!!!!"
Later that day, Spears addressed her critics with the quote, "Take me as I am or kiss my ass eat shit and step on Legos." She also opened up about struggles she faced behind the scenes of her Las Vegas residency during the conservatorship.
"For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos ... look I'm not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think 🚫🙅🏼♀️ 🚫!!!! I've done that for the past 13 years ... I'd much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas," she wrote.
She also accused her team of not allowing her to perform remixes of her songs or put new music in her show.
"This conservatorship killed my dreams ... so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill ... yet people still try !!!!" she wrote.
Spears also called out her sister Jamie Lynn Spears for performing her songs at a past award show, and reiterated her dislike for the recent documentaries about her, including the Framing Britney Spears doc, for bringing up "humiliating moments from the past."
The candid messages come nearly a month after Spears apologized to her fans for putting on a brave face on social media. She wrote in an Instagram caption, "I apologize for pretending like I've been ok the past two years," she continued. "I did it because of my pride and I was embarrassed to share what happened to me … but honestly who doesn't want to capture their Instagram in a fun light 💡🤷🏼♀️ !!!!"
Spears added that pretending to be okay and putting out a positive image on her Instagram "actually helped."
"I feel like Instagram has helped me have a cool outlet to share my presence … existence … and to simply feel like I matter despite what I was going through and hey it worked … so I've decided to start reading more fairy tales," she wrote.
