Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Are Engaged

Congratulations are in order for Britney Spears! The "Toxic" singer is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, model and fitness trainer Sam Asghari.
The pop star broke the big news with a surprise post on Instagram where she showed off her new diamond engagement ring from her now-fiance.
"I can’t fucking believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!," wrote Spears alongside the Instagram post where she also showed off a fiery red french manicure and matching newly dyed hair. In the clip, Spears smiles alongside Asghari and gives him a kiss after allowing fans to get a gilmpse of her new rock, designed by New York City jeweler Roman Malayev.
Asghari's manager Brandon Cohen confirmed the couple's engagement to People saying in a statement, "The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them." The trainer also shared a celebratory post on social media, opting for a photo of Spears cheekily showing off the new ring as they shared a kiss. He captioned the post with simply two emojis, writing "🤴👸 @britneyspears".
The pair have been together since 2016 after meeting on the set of Spears's music video for "Slumber Party". Since then, Asghari has remained by Spears's side during some of the most emotionally trying years of her life as she's battled her father, Jamie Spears, in court to end her 13-year-long conservatorship, of which he oversaw. During an emotional court address this summer, Spears revealed that she has a desire for more children and to grow her family but has been forbidden to do so under the constraints of the conservatorship. Jamie Spears officially filed to terminate his daughter's conservatorship however, alluding to a brighter future for the pop star.
