Britney Spears Reportedly Reunites With Mom Amid Years-Long Feud

Britney Spears reunited with mom Lynne months after asking for a reconciliation.

In photos obtained by TMZ, Lynne was photographed being driven to the home of Spears' manager, Cade Hudson. The mom then took a car to her daughter's residence. Spears and her mother reportedly spent about a half hour speaking at home, with the singer's husband Sam Asghari present.

Sources close to the Spears family told the publication that the mother and daughter have been texting lately, and Lynne is "committed to making it right with her daughter."

In the summer of 2022, Spears leaked text exchanges with Lynne, where the 41-year-old told her mom that the medication she was prescribed was making her feel sick and causing stomach issues. "I feel like he's trying to kill me. I swear to god I do," Spears texted. The texts allegedly demonstrated Lynne's lack of care for her daughter during the pop star's stay at a mental health facility.

She accompanied the post with a message to her mom (per The Daily Mail), alleging mistreatment: "Yo ma did you also let people know that’s one of the only times you text me back out of a million??? Did you also tell people how you hid coffee every single morning??? Did you tell them every morning when I would try to find coffee there were no pictures of me in the kitchen, just Maddie and Jamie Lynn??? Every single morning I would put a picture of me by you guys…and every morning you would put it a way before I woke up."

The singer had seemingly requested a reconciliation in December 2022, writing on Instagram, "Mom and Dad… I crossed the border and I made it !!! After no coffee for 15 years ☕️ … Mom we can go have coffee together now!!! I'm treated as an equal … let's have coffee and talk about it !!!"
