Britney Spears is back, baby! And if anonymous sources tell the truth, her musical comeback isn't far behind.

Page Six reports that Spears has teamed up with musical legend Sir Elton John to rerelease his 1971 classic "Tiny Dancer" as a duet—her first single since 2016's "Slumber Party."

According to an anonymous music industry insider, Spears and John recently met up at a Beverly Hills studio for a "super-secret" recording session. Oops!

According to the insider who (allegedly) spilled the beans, the rerecorded hit is set to be released by Universal Music in August.

The recording session for the revamped version was overseen by 2021 Producer of the Year Grammy Winner Andrew Watt, who has also worked with Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne, and more and, according to the source, we have John to thank. "This was Elton's idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of 'Tiny Dancer'... and it is incredible," the source was quoted as saying.

The source goes on to report that Spears and John have already played the track for their label. "...Everybody is freaking out. It is so good," the source said. "They are saying this is going to be the song of the summer."
