Britney Spears Jets Off to Private Island Amid Father's Hospitalization

Amid reports of her father Jamie's hospitalization with a serious bacterial infection, Britney Spears is taking a tropical vacation with friends.
In a since-deleted video shared on Instagram (which can now be seen on TMZ), the pop icon was seen on a private jet with pals, listening to Troye Sivan's summer hit "Rush." Spears is said to have jetted off to the French Polynesia, staying in a secluded luxury hotel that is only accessible by plane.
She focused the camera on an attractive man with shaggy hair, possibly hinting at a romance between them, but a source told TMZ that he is merely an acquaintance.
In a recent Instagram post, Spears spoke about her getaway, sharing a photo of a man—who appeared to be a different person from the one shown in the video—giving her a kiss on the cheek.
She wrote, "l'm in such a beautiful location! l'm so lucky to have amazing friends!!!"
The 41-year-old also delved into her emotions following her divorce from Sam Asghari, noting, "Positive affirmations are important to me at the moment. I say this because I am going through a divorce. Having to reflect my past in a book was not easy. l'm taking it one day at a time and learning to breathe."
She continued, "Self love is so unbelievably important!!! I woke up and just cried because I felt grateful to be in such a beautiful place. Then I thought about my relationship to Instagram at the moment … it's addicting!!! But when others opinions affect you that's when people quit it."
