Britney Spears Jammed to Her Own Song in the Car
Britney Spears gave us a little taste of a tiny car performance over the weekend. The singer sang along to one of her hit songs, "Lonely," as her boyfriend Sam Asghari captured the cute moment.
In the Instagram video, "Lonely" begins to play over the car's stereo. And prior to singing, you can hear Spears say, "This is a song I wrote that I was proud of."
"Really?" Asghari asked before adding, "I love this song."
The pop star, who was also driving, then joined in with the stereo and sang a verse of her song while Asghari continued to film from the passenger seat. "Think of times you made me cry/ you had me so confused/ I'm tired of trying leave behind this/ what's a girl to do?"

Despite this mini car-concert, the "...Baby One More Time" singer says she has no plans to perform again while the conservatorship is still intact. She took to her Instagram stories to set the record straight.
"Look, I'm not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what wear, say, do, or think 🚫🙅🏼♀️ 🚫!!!!," she wrote.
"And no I'm not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans ... so I quit," she added.
She also shared a post to Instagram to slam those close to her who are only trying to "save face" now, though she didn't specify who the post was directed to, only telling whomever she was referring to that "you know who you are."
"How dare the people you love the most say anything at all … did they even put a hand out to even lift me up at the TIME !!!???," she wrote. "How dare you make it public that NOW you CARE … did you put your hand out when I was drowning ???? Again … NO."
