The Y2K resurgence is alive and well, thanks for asking! Britney Spears’s coming-of-age movie, Crossroads—yes, the one that graced us with “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman” back in 2002—is coming back to theaters for a limited time. Trafalgar Releasing, Sony Music Entertainment, and RCA Records are teaming up to bring the movie back to theaters around the world on October 23 and 25. The flick was a major moment in Britney’s career, so it makes sense that its re-release coincides with the publication of her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, on October 24.

In case you’re *not* a millennial who made Crossroads their entire personality in ’02, allow me to provide you with a little refresher on what the movie entails. Written by Bridgerton executive producer and all-around legend Shonda Rhimes, Crossroads follows a trio of best friends who take a road trip across the country and embark on a journey of self-discovery. The cast is made up of some serious star power including Justin Long, Zoe Saldaña, Taryn Manning, Anson Mount, Kim Cattrall, and Dan Aykroyd.

The re-release is set to play across 875 movie theaters in 24 countries and will also introduce the movie to new generations of fans. According to People, the movie’s soundtrack, Crossroads: Special Edition, will be available to stream ahead of the theatrical release on October 20. Three additional remixes will be featured on the soundtrack, because what’s a re-release without some newness? “Overprotected (Richi Lopez Remix),” “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman (Snakehips Remix)” and “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll (Frank Walker Remix)” join the already iconic track list.

“AMC Theatres in 20 cities will also offer a special VIP screening of the film the evening of October 23 only that includes a special edition of The Woman in Me book with event ticket purchase,” according to an official release.

If you want to reminisce or help the younger fans in your life come to the realization that Britney isn’t the original artist behind “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” snag tickets for Crossroads’ theatrical re-release below:
