British Soap Star Anthony Quinlan Just Showed Off His Impressive CrossFit Transformation

From Men's Health

British soap opera actor Anthony Quinlan recently revealed his impressive body transformation on Instagram.

Quinlan, who has been a regular on the UK-based TV show Emmerdale, made his exit from the ITV soap opera earlier this year after six years of playing character Pete Barton. And it looks like he's been using his time away from the show to get into great shape, thanks in part to taking up CrossFit. The actor posted a video of himself in a CrossFit gym after completing a grueling workout featuring deadlifts, burpees, and snatches, which had a 20-minute time cap.

Quinlan wrote: "I completed in 14.17 went too fast up to the snatches n was gassed. Use the burpees as rest, sounds vile but I found it the best way to attack it. Go get it." Along with being an actor, Anthony is also now a qualified personal trainer and a CrossFit level one trainer.

His exit from Emmerdale was confirmed by writer Sharon Marshall last September, who said he "wants to go off and do some other projects." She added: "We will all miss him. He's a lovely actor, but yes, he's going."

His character Pete Barton was then given a low-key exit in February with the door left open for a potential return in the future. Before starring in Emmerdale, Quinlan had also played Gilly Roach in a different soap opera, Hollyoaks, from 2005 to 2011.
