  • There are murmurs that a British royal might make an appearance in the next James Bond movie, starring Daniel Craig.

  • A source says royal insiders think the appearance could top even Queen Elizabeth’s James Bond cameo, which, LOL good luck with that.

Meghan Markle seems to be having a strong effect on the royal family, even beyond the charity work changes. Her influence might have inspired another royal to follow her into showbiz, so let’s all give her a big THANK YOU. According to a new report from The Sun, back in June, heir to the throne Prince Charles was spotted on-set of the new James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig, and he might end up onscreen.

“When he visited the film set a few weeks ago, it was discussed. Now he is considering it,” said a source close to production.

While he could very well have been inspired by Meghan’s acting career, he’s also interested in following in his mom’s footsteps, since Queen Elizabeth had her own Bond girl moment at the 2012 Olympics. Remember when she was thrown out of a helicopter?

(’Twas a stunt double, don’t freak.)

“They loved the buzz around the Queen’s appearance alongside Daniel Craig and think Charles could top even that,” the source added. “He is the epitome of everything British, perfect for a cameo role, and Bond fans worldwide would absolutely love it.”

Considering how absolutely cursed the movie production has been so far, an extra royal boost would be appreciated. The same month Prince Charles and Daniel Craig hit it off on-set, Daniel hurt his ankle and had to start using crutches. A crew member was also seriously injured during production, and the original director dropped out in 2018, so it’s been a rough ride for everyone involved.

Maybe Prince Charles could swoop in and save the day with Meghan too? We can only dream.
