The Gowaan Racing team is a British team started by Baraona and Martha Gill a. When the pair were without a team headed into 2024, they decided to make a team themselves. The result is Gowaan Racing. See their intro video below.
Bex Baraona is a rider to watch in 2024. Her story is tragic because she did not get renewed by her sponsor after 2023 which was her best season yet. In 2023, Baraona won a round of the Enduro World Cup and finished 5th int he overall but still was not resigned. Read more about the controversy below.

With a downturn in the bike industry and the sport of enduro suffering, she was unable to find another suitable sponsor. Thankfully she was unperturbed and did what she had to to get back on the start line.
