This British Airways Sale Has Savings on Trips to Madrid, Rome, and More
The airline's latest sale ends on Sept. 26.
It’s getting easier (and cheaper) to jet off to Europe as the summer comes to a close, and British Airways is putting the cherry on top with a September flight sale that has roundtrip tickets starting at less than $500.
The sale, which must be booked by 11:59 ET on Sept. 26, is available for flights from British Airways’ 26 gateway cities in the United States to popular destinations across Europe, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The sale is valid on outbound travel from Sept. 26 through May 4 when booking an economy ticket and valid on travel from Oct. 10 through May 4 when booking a business class ticket. All trips must be completed by May 16.
“We are excited to announce our vacation sale to popular travel destinations,” Norma Rios, the head of North America sales for the airline, said in a statement provided to T+L. “Whether you desire a quick getaway or a long-awaited trip to visit family and friends, we have offers to suit all. We remain dedicated to providing our customers with ample choices, flexibility, and value.”

Book a flight from New York City to Helsinki starting at just $490 roundtrip, or to Madrid from New York, Washington D.C., Boston, or Los Angeles starting at just $497 roundtrip. Travelers can also fly from Denver to London starting at just $649 roundtrip, or from Chicago to Rome starting at just $533 roundtrip.
Travelers can also splurge on business class tickets, which are on sale starting at just $2,499 roundtrip from New York to London, or starting at just $2,799 roundtrip from New York to Madrid.
In addition, British Airways is putting vacation packages on sale, allowing travelers to save up to $400 when they book a flight and hotel together. A 5-night trip to London starts at just $899 per person when flying from New York, Boston, or Los Angeles.
To take advantage of that deal, travelers must also book by Sept. 26 and travel by June 30, 2024.
