These Brilliant Earth Cookies Make The World Go Round

Earth Day is this Sunday, and now more than ever, it's incredibly important to raise awareness and help out our planet. If you're throwing a party, need some treats to bring to an event, or just want to commemorate the day, we've got the perfect (also, easiest) dessert ever. Because it's just not a party without cake cookies.
While you may go baking crazy around Christmas or Thanksgiving, let's be real - not all of us have the time or the desire to spend hours in the kitch on a random Sunday. But trust us, these cookies look totally impressive, and they couldn't be easier to make. We love homemade cookies, but hacking store-bought sugar cookie dough is a life saver when you just can't with your mixer. Plus, your kiddos can easily help out and feel like they made them themselves. Happiness all around.
All you have to do is prepare your sugar cookie dough according to the instructions, then divide it into two bowls, and color one with blue and one with green food coloring.
Pull out pieces from each bowl, shape them together into a ball, and patch to create an Earth effect. Seriously, we told you it was easy.
