Allan-Blitz and Larson previously worked together on a project where they won an Emmy for their interactive program The Messy Truth in VR in 2020.

The pair began dating in 2019, following Larson's split from her ex-fiancé of six years, Phantom Planet lead singer Alex Greenwald.
