Breeze Is Celebrating 2 New Routes to Florida With Flights for As Low As $59 — When to Book

The low-cost airline will be flying to Florida from Plattsburgh, New York and Portland, Maine.

Low-cost airline Breeze Airways is adding two new routes to Florida this fall, adding to its robust service to the Sunshine State.

Starting on Nov. 15, the airline will launch brand-new seasonal service from Portland, Maine, to Fort Myers, the airline told Travel + Leisure. The new route will operate during the winter and spring on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Then on Nov. 28, the airline will launch service from Plattsburgh, New York, to Orlando. That flight will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Plattsburgh sits just south of the Canadian border and about 60 miles from Montreal.

“Plattsburgh becomes our fourth airport in New York State, but the first with a large international appeal,” Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways’ president, said in a statement provided to T+L, adding “With our expansion in Florida, Breeze now offers the most Florida destinations from six cities in our network.”

With the new routes, Breeze will now serve seven different destinations in Florida: Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Orlando, Sarasota/Bradenton, Tampa, Vero Beach, and West Palm Beach. In total, the airline is adding 19 new routes to Florida within the next two months.

To celebrate the new flights, travel from Portland to Fort Myers starts at just $89 one-way and travel from Plattsburgh to Orlando starts at just $59 one-way. To take advantage of the promotion, flights must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 18 and are valid for travel through April 30, 2024.

Breeze was founded in 2021 by former JetBlue founder David Neeleman and has rapidly expanded since, adding more new routes for fall from popular destinations like Louisiana and Pennsylvania.

The airline operates a low-cost model with three fare options: “Nice,” “Nicer,” and “Nicest,” which includes the company’s newest product, Breeze Ascent, that comes with checked baggage, complimentary snacks and beverages, and in-seat AC power and USB and USB-C charging ports.

Breeze doesn’t charge any change or cancellation fees for any of its flights up to 15 minutes before departure.
