Breeze Airways has mapped out its summer schedule from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, announcing three new routes to New England.

Just before the Memorial Day weekend, the low-cost airline will begin flying between Raleigh-Durham and Burlington, Vermont., Portland, Maine, and Syracuse, New York. These routes will be available twice-weekly basis during the summer season before coming to a close on Sept. 3.

Breeze first started flying to the North Carolina airport in February 2022 and has seen proven success from this destination. In less than a year’s time, the airline has rapidly expanded with a schedule of year-round and seasonal routes.

“Raleigh-Durham and the greater Research Triangle have shown to be a fast-growing destination and origin,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey in a statement shared exclusively with Travel + Leisure. “We have seen great demand in the region, and we are excited to bring more affordable and convenient destinations to our guests, now with 15 nonstop destinations on sale.”

Beyond New England, the carrier has a few other summer routes planned for the North Carolina airport. Breeze will begin flying between Raleigh-Durham and San Diego this May, a new transcontinental route that isn’t offered by any other airline.

Along with the announcement, all three of Breeze’s newest flights are on sale for as low as $59 one-way when booked directly through Breeze’s website or app. The promotional fares must be booked by February 5, with no blackout dates to note. This means travelers based in the Triangle region can jump on these excellent fares to New England during peak summer.

Over the past couple of years, Raleigh-Durham International Airport has seen a substantial amount of growth. Breeze’s main competitor, Avelo Airlines, established a base at Raleigh-Durham last year. This summer, Lufthansa and Aeromexico are coming to the airport to offer new services to Frankfurt and Mexico City, respectively.
