Calling all Londoners! Have you ever dreamed of having an iconic Breakfast at Tiffanys moment, but haven't had the chance to journey across the pond to do it in NYC? You're in luck, because Tiffany & Co.'s famed Blue Box Café is coming to your neck of the woods for a limited time.

Opening on February 14, the British Blue Box will be located at Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, London, making it the first Blue Box Café in Europe. Situated on the ground floor, the café's design was inspired by that of the original Blue Box at the New York City flagship (which is currently closed for renovations). However, the London version will have its own unique design touches exclusive to Harrods.

The overall goal of the interior design is to make guests feel as though they are dining inside one of the brand's famed Tiffany blue gift boxes. Alongside that iconic color, the café is also set to pay homage to the label's natural inspirations, featuring stone detailing and the hand-painted Tiffany's Flora and Fauna motif.

The people behind Tiffany & Co. are looking forward to this new venture. “We are excited to introduce The Tiffany Blue Box Cafe in Europe and it seems only fitting to do so at Harrods, one of the world’s most iconic department stores. We have a long-standing presence in London and by introducing The Tiffany Blue Box Cafe here, we offer our customers in this city yet another way to immerse themselves in the world of Tiffany,” said Richard Moore, the divisional vice president of Global Store Design and Creative Visual Merchandising, in a statement.

As for the café's food, you can expect everything from high tea to fresh salads to delectable pastries. The cuisine will be sourced and prepared by the Harrods team of over 150 chefs, led by executive head chef, (the aptly named) Andy Cook, and executive head pastry chef Markus Bohr. The menu will feature classic items from the New York café including the Central Park Salad, the Big Apple, the Tiffany's Bird's Nest and the Blue Box Celebration Cake. All food will, naturally, be served on the classic Tiffany & Co. "Color Block" bone china.

The Blue Box will be a step forward for Harrods' culinary landscape, as well. “We proudly welcome the partnership with Tiffany & Co. and The Blue Box Café as we endeavour to continue to provide innovative and elevated dining experiences at Harrods. We are confident that our local and global customers will mirror our excitement in housing the very first Blue Box Café in Europe. From conception to creation, the partnership with Tiffany & Co has been a wonderful opportunity to showcase the expertise of our in house chefs, who drew inspiration from Tiffany’s heritage and brought it to life in a uniquely 'Harrods' way,” said Chris Dee, director of food and home at the department store.

So, if you can't wait for New York's Blue Box Café to reopen post-renovations, book yourself a ticket to London for a new spin on an old classic. You'll soon be wishing for high tea, rather than breakfast, at Tiffany's.
