How to make delicious breakfast on the grill

  • Pancakes.

For grill-made pancakes, transform the grates into a griddle.

You can purchase a griddle top specifically designed for grills or you can use a sheet pan from your kitchen. Make sure the sheet pan is either aluminum or steel and isn't coated.

Place it on the grill, and, ta-da, you have a griddle!

  • Bacon.

Create a makeshift pan and fold the edges up to create a well that collects the grease. It's also a good idea to reinforce it with a few layers of foil to prevent punctures or leaks.

Check the grill's temperature. If it's too hot, it can burn holes in the foil, so adjust the temperature if needed. A low fire will also ensure your food cooks evenly.

Always keep an eye on the bacon while it's on the grill to prevent a grease fire.

Using aluminum foil also makes cleanup a breeze. Once the bacon is done, just toss the foil into the trash!

  • Eggs.

Make a pan for your eggs by layering a few sheets of aluminum foil and molding it over an upside-down bowl. Depending on how many eggs you're cooking at once, you can use as big or small a bowl as you need.

Spray the inside of the foil with cooking spray, then add your eggs and any preferred mix-ins, like peppers or onions, and put the foil on the grill. If you're mixing the eggs, do that in the bowl that shaped your aluminum foil mold so as not to risk puncturing the foil.

You can also cook eggs in a muffin tin, which is a simple solution if you're making a variety of egg breakfasts at once.

Bon appétit!
