Brave Mama Possum Doesn't Flinch While Getting Stitches After Being Attacked
You'll be rooting for this tough little mama!
Possums are non-aggressive animals, and when they are threatened they usually stand on their hind legs and hiss in an attempt to scare away a predator, or they roll over and feign being dead, hence the term 'playing possum.' They will bite if they have to, but for the most part these gentle creatures just want to be left alone. Especially when they are carrying their babies.
This possum wasn't able to be left alone, however, after she was attacked by a dog and needed care. TikTok user @EverythingRuby99 is a wildlife rehabber in Texas and she posted this sweet video of this brave little mom named Ellie getting stitches after a dog attack.

After pulling out her stitches and getting sewn back up Ellie is doing great and healing every day. You go little Ellie! We are all rooting for you!
