With May the 4th ready to finally burst onto our calendars, it is time to let go of the Star Wars shame you might have 364 days of the year and finally just admit to the world that it's an exciting day — and watching nine straight movies (not including spinoffs) is a totally do-able goal.

Beyond gluing yourself to the couch, you can celebrate the day by allowing yourself to splurge on a few new items for your collection of Star Wars toys, memorabilia, and artwork. This has been made so much easier with the newest releases from Lego.

In honor of the upcoming holiday, Lego announced the launch of five new items throughout the week, much to the delight of anyone looking to bolster their own collection, or are in need of a gift for a Star Wars fan in their life.

So, whether you've got aspirations to be a Rebel pilot or simply love new projects to build, check out the latest launch of Star Wars sets from Lego before they're gone.

X-Wing Starfighter

Perhaps the most iconic Rebel ship across all nine films, the X-Wing Starfighter stands as a near necessity for any Lego Star Wars collection. While this is by no means the first X-Wing to be enshrined in glorious Lego, it is perhaps the most comprehensive.

The starfighter has a flight and attack mode wing setting, Luke and R2-D2 figurines, and a new display plaque showing off X-Wing technical specs.

Executor Super Star Destroyer

If you've got more of an urge to build for the Dark Side, the new Executor Super Star Destroyer is the item to buy. The ship is nearly a foot-and-a-half long and comes propped up on a display stand celebrating the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi.

What delights me the most about the ship are the two attachable Star Destroyers that give you a true perspective of the size scaling between the gargantuan ships that terrorized the galaxy.

Pirate Snub Fighter

Outside of the original nine films, the must-watch item at the top of nearly any list is The Mandalorian. While you might be growing just the slightest bit tired of the plush Grogu's or your coworkers agreeing with your comment by saying, "This is the way," the Lego Pirate Snub Fighter breaks the mold.

Straight from the most recent season of the show, the Pirate Snub Fighter comes with stud shooters, a compartment for a thermal detonator, and two brand-new figurines.

Emperor's Throne Room Diorama

Unlike the ships and the characters, the Lego Emperor's Throne Room Diorama aims to capture the essence of the scene. This diorama shows us the final climactic battle between Luke and Darth Vader as Emperor Palpatine watches on.

The figures duke it out in front of the now-iconic circular window of the new Death Star, and the entire scene is centered on a display ground that has the same 40th-anniversary plaque and even a quote from the scene itself.

Endor Speeder Chase Diorama

Another captured scene, the Endor Speeder Chase Diorama from Lego is another huge moment from Return of the Jedi. This scene also comes with three figurines between Luke, Leia, and the Scout Trooper, but the most exciting part is the two speeders.

The two forest speeders became some of the most dynamic and exciting in the franchise and their appearance in this scene is largely the reason why.

The diorama also comes with a stand, a 40th-anniversary plaque, and a classic quote from the scene.
