When we think of condominiums, we often think of long beaches lined with multi-unit high rises, one nearly identical to the next. While attractive for their enhanced security, shared amenities, and minimal upkeep, condos can, occasionally, leave something to be desired aesthetically.
But a new development in the Turks and Caicos archipelago is anything but your average condo complex. Sporting an exterior that’s more reminiscent of chic Caribbean villas, the limited-unit buildings will house just three well-appointed condos each. And with amenities such as private pools, spa-like outdoor shower gardens, and 13-foot vaulted ceilings, the spacious escapes are just as luxurious as they are stylish.
The new development, dubbed The Reserve, is part of the Rock House, a first-of-its-kind residential resort tucked high above the piercing Caribbean Sea. Inspired by the elegance and the architecture of the Mediterranean coast, the resort (comprised mostly of one- and two-bedroom cottages) spans 600 feet of oceanfront along Providenciales’ north shore. Like any five-star resort, these pristine vacation residences come with a seductive list of amenities, including a scenic hilltop restaurant capturing elevated ocean views, a relaxing spa, fully equipped fitness center, tennis courts, and jogging trails. A 100-foot infinity pool is the pièce de résistance, equipped with relaxing daybeds and poolside food and beverage service.
The Reserve condos, phase two of the Rock House development by Grace Bay Resorts, will feature a luxurious focal point of their own: a one-of-a-kind quarry pool nestled deep within the ancient limestone of the property. Perched just above that unique feature are the two-floor condo buildings, made up of two units on the bottom floor and a two-bedroom penthouse on top. Inside, each residence is luxuriously imagined by designer-to-celebs Shawn Henderson, with details such as feature walls clad in local limestone and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Want to score one of these impossibly chic vacation condos for yourself? Prices for a 1,460-square-foot two-bedroom residence start at $1.395 million; the penthouse can be scored for $1.675 million. Learn more about the Reserve at Rock House here.
