Bradley Cooper: A look back at his career

Before the incredible success of the movie A Star Is Born and the crazy connection with singer-actress Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper was a working actor. His first roles were on the small screen opposite Jennifer Garner in Alias and as a cowboy in a Hallmark movie. In 2004 he decided to quit drinking, and a year later he scored a memorable part in the Vince Vaughn-Owen Wilson comedy Wedding Crashers. Cooper’s breakout role came in 2009 in The Hangover. The massive popularity of the film led to two sequels and opened the door for Cooper’s Oscar-nominated role in Silver Linings Playbook. Since then, he’s gone from working actor to bona fide celebrity. Cooper nabbed another Academy Award nomination for American Hustle, and his directorial debut in A Star Is Born was the talk of this past awards show season. The film, starring Cooper and Lady Gaga, scored eight Oscar nominations and won for Best Original Song.
