Bradley Cooper’s daughter appeared uninterested in the glamour of the red carpet.

On 12 December, the 48-year-old actor took his six-year-old daughter Lea De Seine as his plus one for the premiere of his new film Maestro. Yet amid the many camera flashes, the young Cooper didn’t pay much attention to her surroundings. Instead, at one point, she appeared more interested in the activities she’d brought with her.

Lea, who the A Star is Born lead shares with his ex-partner Irina Shayk, decided she didn’t want to stand and smile next to Cooper. So, she popped a squat on the coveted catwalk and pulled out her colouring book. In front of a gold velvet curtain at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Lea and her friend were immersed in their own world, doodling together as if they were at home.

Entertainment Tonight captured the innocent moment in a short, amusing clip, in which Lea is seen erasing marks in her book before she focuses on her father standing behind her with Carey Mulligan, Cooper’s co-star. “Daddy... daddy,” she called out. The Hangover actor proceeded to look down.

“Bradley Cooper’s daughter gets bored at her dad’s movie premiere,” the on-screen caption read.

Fellow parents commented on the outlet’s Instagram post, admitting they were pleased to see a celebrity’s child acting like a typical kid their age.

One mom wrote: “Great. She’s being a little girl... We all parents can relate,” while another said: “She’s a kid. Being a kid.”

A third added: “Don’t blame her. So cute.”

Despite Lea’s captured disregard for the glitzy setting, the father-daughter duo got one good photo together from the night. Cooper donned an all-black suit, complete with a fitted vest. Meanwhile, Lea sported a funky style in a cheetah-print dress, red lipstick, and a black and red box crossbody bag.

Cooper recently talked to Emma Stone about Lea for an “Actors on Actors” Variety video. During the 8 December discussion, the Limitless star noted how Lea will constantly ask him mature questions.

“I was with my daughter the other day, she’s like: ‘So what happens after, when you die?’” he said. “I was like: ‘I actually don’t know,’ because I always tell her the truth.”

And although Lea seemed to act her age on the red carpet, she didn’t let her dad get away without a clear answer.

“Doesn’t Google know?” she asked him, to which Cooper added: “Maybe?”

Unfortunately, Lea never received the response she may have been looking for because Cooper never did Google the answer. “We were getting ice cream,” he noted to Stone.

The American Sniper performer began dating Lea’s mother in 2015. Nearly a year later, Cooper and Shayk were pregnant, officially welcoming Lea in 2017. However, in 2019 the celebrity pair officially split.

Cooper is now rumoured to be dating international supermodel Gigi Hadid.
