Bradley Cooper Is a Dad with a Man Bun Now

Over the last two years, the man bun has been the go-to hairstyle for a certain swath of young, urban males. But 2017, that up-do is taking it easy. Right now, it's less about hair ties and more about guys letting their hair down and their Bro Flows™ free. Everyone, that is, but Bradley Cooper.
The 42-year-old new father was spotted out yesterday, with his new baby in tow, sporting some premium bun-age. We've already thought long and hard about the man bun and its meanings in the world of modern masculinity, but there's really only one reason guys are still sporting this 202-level hair god move: it's easy. When you have a kid and a career and a movie with Lady Gaga, maybe, just maybe, you don't have the goddamned time to get those perfectly undone surfer waves.
Cooper, admittedly, is a fan of both looks, now that he has that perfect hair length, but thats one of the perks of being a movie star — someone will come to you and make sure your hair looks undone in that way that's enviable not repelling. Nice work if you can get it.
But, as summer approaches, it's a good time to figure out what, exactly, you're going to do with that longer hair. Sure, the man bun isn't exactly the cool-guy thing it in the past, but, who cares? If you're more concerned with keeping your hair off your neck when the temps are reaching toward triple digits, this is the 'do for you. If you're a guy who has a lot going on — and, let's face it, that's most of us — this is still an easy way to just get your hair out of your face and look somewhat cool while doing it. Cooper — an example to bros world-over who doesn't care much for dress codes and isn't afraid to bust out a wild man beard at a political gathering — may make the dad bun the new dad bod.
