Bradley Cooper Brought His Mom as His Date to the Oscars

Bradley Cooper melted every viewer's heart as he walked the Oscars 2022 red carpet with his mother.

The A Star is Born actor looked elegant in a black tuxedo while arriving at the event. And his sweet date matched his look. Cooper's mom, Gloria Campano, wore a floor-length black dress and silver sequin blazer. She went for comfort in a pair of black flats and accessorized with a pair of blue-tinted sunglasses.

Cooper embraced his mom on the carpet as they smiled and posed for photos.

This is not the first time the star has chosen his mom as his date to Hollywood events. At the 2019 Oscars, he famously walked the carpet with Campano and then-girlfriend Irina Shayk. The trio even coordinated in all-black outfits and posed for photos together outside Hollywood's the Dolby Theatre.

Cooper also attended the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium with his mother, who then wore a black dress, flats, and tinted sunglasses, like she did tonight, for the 94th Academy Awards.

Cooper has previously spoken about his close bond with his mother, and in a 2020 interview said he cared for her during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and stayed in with her and his daughter, Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper, whom he shares with his supermodel ex.

"I'm with my daughter and my mother and my two dogs, and we have not left the house," Cooper said at the time. "My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can't let anybody in the house. And I can't leave the house, because if she gets it, it's over."
