Brad Pitt Is Reportedly "So Proud" on Shiloh's 14th Birthday

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's oldest child Shiloh is turning 14 on Wednesday, and a source recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how the family plans to celebrate — and how Pitt is feeling ahead of her birthday.

"Shiloh is close to both of her parents. All the kids have been looking forward to Shiloh's birthday and plan to celebrate with a birthday cake," the source told ET. "Brad is so proud of Shiloh and who she has become. He loves that she always stays true to herself and is so good to her brothers and sisters."

Last month, Jolie gave a short update on how she and her family are during a live virtual event, telling the interviewer, "We're all locked in, we're doing all right."

ET's source added that Pitt and Jolie have been "getting along" after working out custody for their six children, 18-year-old Maddox, 16-year-old Pax, 15-year-old Zahara, 14-year-old Shiloh and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

"Brad's kids are the most important thing to him. He tells his friends he learns so much about life from his own children," the source continues. "He and Angie have been getting along so much better since the custody rules have been worked out. They have come so far."

Since the coronavirus pandemic has caused most of us to shelter-in-place, Pitt has spent his time making surprise virtual appearances, notably as Dr. Anthony Fauci on Saturday Night Live, and in a video message of support for graduates from his hometown.

Jolie, on the other hand, has spoken out to defend vulnerable children during the pandemic, and has urged people to check in with each other while self-isolating. Last month, it was reported that the Jolie-Pitt siblings have been keeping up with their schoolwork, practicing their languages, playing instruments, board games, and helping cook dinner while in isolation.
