Brad Pitt was all smiles at the premiere for The Lost City Of Z in Los Angeles Wednesday night, his first red-carpet appearance since November. The actor served as a producer on the film after pulling out of the starring role due to scheduling conflicts. He’s recently found a new hobby through sculpture and seems to have an updated style to accompany the venture. At the premiere, Pitt wore a black bomber jacket, baggy pants, and a newsboy hat to top it all off.

While Pitt’s saggy pants may look in need of tailoring, he’s actually ahead of the fashion curve. Baggy pants have been hitting the runways regularly over the past couple of years, but came out in full force during the fall 2017 menswear shows. Louis Vuitton and J.Crew showed loose-fitting trousers in their recent collections, and Pitt seems to have taken a liking to the style.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Brad Pitt look without some sort of hat in play. Though he sometimes opts for a fedora, his preference has always appeared to be a neutral-colored newsboy cap. If this hat is a sign of anything, it’s that Pitt is getting back to his regular self after a rough year.
