Brittany Mahomes is looking back on simpler times.

The wife of NFL star Patrick Mahomes took to Instagram recently to take a quick stroll down memory lane, sharing an old image of herself and the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback from high school.

The couple—who tied the knot in Maui in 2022 and now share two children: daughter Sterling, 3, and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon III, 16 months—have been together since their teenage years, as evidenced by the sweet capture.

In the (very relatable) image, the NFL WAG sported braces across her teeth, as she proudly flashed them wide for the snapshot with her then-boyfriend, smushing his face together with her hand as he shot the camera an unamused facial expression.

Even more endearing, the snapshot was positioned alongside a current-day image of the pair recreating the same pose from all those years ago. It made for quite the side-by-side comparison of how far they've come since their school days.

“Who knew 12 years later we would be where we are at!” Brittany wrote under the pictures shared via Instagram Stories on Monday, April 1. “This life with you,” she added alongside teary-eyed face and pink heart emojis. She also tagged the pro footballer on the social media upload.

The recollection of the early days of their relationship comes just days after the duo attended a wedding, at which the 28-year-old mom slipped into two different dresses for the occasion. "Was the best time celebrating the McDaniel’s 🤍," she captioned the post.

Patrick and Brittany also recently celebrated a wedding anniversary of their own, as they marked two years of marriage on March 12.
