  • Disney just released a new trailer for their live action remake of The Lion King.

  • In the clip, we hear Beyoncé in her role as Nala for the first time.

And with that, our day was made.

While a slew of trailers for Disney's upcoming Lion King live action remake have been released in recent weeks, it's the newest one that really has us on the edge of our seats with anticipation. Because people, we finally got to hear Beyoncé.

In the latest trailer drop, for the first time ever you can hear Queen Bey-who plays Simba's childhood bff and future lady (lion?) love Nala-in her hotly anticipated animated roll.

"Simba," you hear the songstress say in a voice-over. "You have to take your place as king. We need you. Come home."

Simple words, but guys we won't lie: We. Are. Shook. But while we bask in the heart-pumping perfection that is Beyoncé as a CGI lion, we'll take a second to note that the Homecoming star wasn't the only A-lister to finally make their debut in the trailer. We also got to hear a small snippet of Seth Rogan (Pumba) and Billy Eichner (Timon) in their roles as the hilariously iconic warthog/meerkat besties.

It's possible that Beyoncé and her 7-year-old daughter Blue Ivy dropped a hint of the trailer to come over the weekend, as the singer took to her Instagram page to post a handful of photos of herself headed to her mother Tina Knowles' annual Wearable Art Gala. She donned a gold body suit featuring an extravagant feathered lion's head as the bust, while Blue Ivy was featured in an adorable video mouthing the lyrics to the Lion King's titular song, "The Circle of Life."

The film officially premieres July 19, and it's safe to say that if we could buy our movie tickets today, we would.
