Boyfriend surprises 'bae' with new hair salon

Talk about relationship goals.

Instagram user Khyree Townes loves his “bae” Aniya Maia Howell so much that he gave her a brand-new beauty salon.

At just 20 years old, the Atlanta-based barber and entrepreneur Townes is one of the owners of Cut Creaters Salons, with three locations in the city. He added a fourth one when he surprised his 17-year-old stylist girlfriend with her own salon.

The heartfelt gesture went viral, drawing more than 1 million views, after he shared the video with his 127,000 followers. In the video, he gives girlfriend Howell the keys to her new nine-station beauty bar.

“Today I surprised her with her first shop. I gave her one of the biggest suites in the building,” he wrote. “Ima give you the world, I promise.” The couple is seen hugging and celebrating with Maia’s son in a room with purple lighting.

Howell shared a detailed look at her sparkling new workplace on her Instagram page.

They said I wasn't for you… they said you were no good for me…. “You have pushed me and motivated me so much,” Howell wrote, thanking him. “You always had faith in me, you knew I could do it, you told me I would.”

Commenters have flooded the couple’s Instagram pages with congratulations on their success.

“One of the greatest blessing[s] someone can have is to be in a position to place someone else in a better position. Yet he did one better, placed his women in her own ship,” wrote one commenter. Added another: “That’s love man, God bless you both. Can’t wait to find something like that one day. You even thinking about her feelings is more than enough.”

Although the couple has yet to return Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment, from looking at Townes’s social media, we know he is the barber of celebrities such as rapper Rick Ross and Young Dolph.

And he started his barber journey when he was only 8 years old.
