‘Boy Meets World’ Alum William Daniels (aka Mr. Feeny) Stopped an Attempted Robbery Like It Was NBD
As any Boy Meets World fan will remember, Mr. Feeny always had sage advice for Cory, Topanga and Shawn. Well, it turns out William Daniels, the actor who played him on the series for seven years, has some tricks of his own.
When intruders attempted to kick in the back door of Daniels’s home last Saturday at 9:20 p.m., he kept cool under pressure and simply turned the lights on. The wannabe burglars got spooked and fled, and 91-year-old Daniels and his wife, Bonnie Bartlett, continued with their evening.
A rep for Daniels told People, “Someone tried to break in to the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels on Saturday evening. Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded. They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern.”
Now, if only Mr. Feeny would come over to keep an eye on things after we binge too many episodes of Law and Order: Criminal Intent while home alone.
