Cat owners, obviously, love their cats. But most of them don’t want to morph into their cats. And that’s why we’ve got so many mixed feelings about this cute exotic shorthair cat named Muska, who poses for photos with fake human hands. On one hand (har har har) it’s pretty artistic. On the other, it’s something we’re not naturally trained to see.

That’s tough for us to admit, because if you haven’t been able to tell, we’re big cat fans. We adore cats in all shapes, sizes, and conditions. And while we’d be down to snuggle Muska any day of the week, we’d prefer if it happened without the plastic props.

The photo below is one of the most alarming. It looks like human-handed Muska is wearing a white long sleeved shirt.

But, let’s think about this for a second. If cats actually had hands, they’d be able to help us switch the channel on the TV. We’d guess Muska goes right to Animal Planet with this kind of control.

Hands also help us emote. For example,we can tell that Muska is deep in thought in this shot.

Oh, and sometimes plastic feet are also involved. You read that right.

But, don’t worry. There are still plenty of pictures of this kitty acting like nothing more than a kitty.

Really, it’s Muska’s incredible cuteness that makes him a huge star.

Still, if you want your cat to become a viral star, there’s a lot you can learn here. All you need is the right prop.
