How Boston Became Paris for Just One Evening

On Saturday, June 8, more than 700 guests gathered at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts for its annual Summer Party, but they could have all been forgiven for mistaking their surroundings for France. After all, the event-the MFA's only black-tie annual soirée-was themed to match the museum's current exhibition, "Toulouse-Lautrec and the Stars of Paris." And the evening didn't disappoint; guests were treated to cocktails, dancing, and a musical performance from MFA staffer Chris Barberesi. In fact, one couple found the night so enchanting that they got engaged on the steps of the museum's rotunda.
