Honestly, the only thing that got me through this past year were the never-ending, spot-on recommendations from BookTok. Inevitably, when I found out that some of these books were coming to screens, my to-watch list only started to grow. Below you'll find 10 BookTok books being adapted to movies or TV shows.

1.The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Synopsis: Evelyn Hugo, a Hollywood legend, decides to leave her autobiography in the hands of Monique Grant, an unknown magazine reporter. What's Evelyn Hugo's story? And perhaps most importantly — why did Evelyn choose Monique to write it? Originally written in 2017, this novel has been acclaimed from its release with it becoming a New York Times bestseller. In 2018, it even received a Best Historical Fiction Goodreads Choice Award nomination. In March, Netflix announced that the novel was finally coming to screens. Liz Tigelaar, screenwriter of Little Fires Everywhere, will write the screenplay and Reid will be a co-producer. The series goes more in-depth about Marianne's boyfriends, which allows viewers to understand her character better.
