What a gift this story is for little ones who have lost a pet. This book focuses on the tradition of Dia de Muertos, but its gentle welcome of grief is for everyone.
“Catan: The Official Cookbook”
(Ulysses Press) And now for something completely different – If “Settlers of Catan” is a regular game night feature at your house, now you and your children can start the evening with food inspired by the game. There are loads of themed dishes here (“Ear of Plenty Corn Dip” and “Robber’s Discard Delight,” for example) and fun additions like Customizable Hex Cookies so you can even make edible game pieces.
