Bonnie Masters and Tennant Maxey affianced, planning a summer wedding

Michael Willingham Masters and Suzanne Sackleh Masters, both of Atlanta, announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Anne Masters of New York to David Tennant Bryan Maxey, also of New York.

The future bridegroom, known as Tennant, is the son of Talbott Bryan Maxey and Jack Maxey, both of Palm Beach.

He is the maternal grandson of Alice Z. Pannill of Palm Beach, known as Kit, and late J. Stewart Bryan III of Richmond, Virginia. His paternal grandparents are Thomas and Ann (Barrette) Maxey of San Miguel Allende, Mexico and Cotton Bay, Bahamas.

The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of Mary Elizabeth Masters, known as Dixie, and Burt Hugh Masters of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick (Joan Thomason) Sackleh of Tennessee.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Marist School and of the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of the University Club in New York.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of the Taft School and is soon to graduate from Fordham University at Lincoln Center.

The couple's engagement took place on Easter Sunday 2023 at his grandmother's garden in Palm Beach.

A June 29 wedding is planned at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.
