Back in March, Mike McGill held a grand opening for his new skate shop in Encinitas, California, and invited a handful of Bones Brigade members to hang out, sign autographs and simply be a part of the big day.

Thousands of fans unexpectedly showed up for autographs and selfies with the Bones Brigade making the day an overwhelming success. "The line of fans outside of the store seemed a mile in distance and didn’t abate once that day," recalls Stacy Peralta. The event ended up going hours over time and hundreds of people had to be turned away when the store inevitably had to close.

"This incredible response got us thinking that maybe it was time we put something together to celebrate the Bones Brigade and our fans," said Peralta. "Thus the idea for the Bones Brigade Experience was born."

A first of its kind, Peralta and the OG Bones Brigade members are putting this unique event together by themselves with the thought of it possibly becoming an annual event to be held in different locations all over the country, and perhaps the world.

"There are big plans, stay tuned," wrote legendary photog Grant Brittain on Instagram as he recalled an image of @peraltastacy filming @lancemountain and @stevecaballero at the Animal Chin Ramp in 1986. No one has a more extensive Bones Brigade photo archive than Grant, and events like this always tend to bring out rare, unseen gems from his archive.

With a limited number of general and VIP options, you're really in for a great time either way. Visit the Bones Brigade Experience site here for info on pricing, location and general details about this epic experience and secure your spot today.
