American actress Tanya Roberts – born Victoria Leigh Blum – died on January 3 at the age of 65 after collapsing while walking her dogs in Los Angeles.

She was best known for playing Bond girl Stacey Sutton in 1985's A View to a Kill and Julie Rogers on the ABC show Charlie's Angels.

The Hollywood actress made her film debut in 1975's Forced Entry, before being cast to replace Shelley Hack as one of the three Angels on the fifth and final season of the popular Seventies crime show, although she was not able to turn around its declining ratings.

However, she was elevated to international fame in 1985 when she was cast opposite Roger Moore to play a Californian geologist and Bond's romantic interest.

Roberts continued to make regular onscreen appears in films such as Body Slam (1987), Purgatory (1988) and Legal Tender (1991), which was written by her husband, screenwriter Barry Roberts.

In 1998, she returned to the small screen to play Midge in hit Fox sitcom That 70s Show, which starred Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, among other future Hollywood stars.

Her friend and representative Mike Pingel said he was “devastated” at the loss of his “brilliant and beautiful” friend.
