Another day, another body-positive viral hashtag, but #DontHateTheShake is a bit different. According to Yahoo Beauty, it was started by blogger Melissa Gibson, who goes by the Instagram name Yourstruelymelly, who wants everyone to embrace whatever "jiggling" might happen with their body and just have fun and dance. And it's catching on.

"When I posted my first #DontHateTheShake video, I did it to challenge myself," Gibson told Yahoo Beauty. "I wanted to show the world not only the posed and still picture of me, but I also wanted to celebrate and destigmatize how it looked when my body moved."

Because really, who cares what a roll here or there looks like while you're dancing? "In our own way, #DontHateTheShake is challenging stereotypes and how the world views bodies and taking the focus from how they look to how they move and what bodies can do and the joy that they bring us," Gibson added.

So many different people have posted their own #DontHateTheShake videos that Gibson had to start a whole new Instagram account, where she reposts some of the best ones. She already has 21,000 followers! Check out some of the amazing videos here to get inspiration to join the movement for yourself. While it's mostly curvier women posting, there are also less curvy women, and also some men, too.
