Bobby Flay Is Releasing A Pet Food Brand With His Cat Nacho

Bobby Flay may be known for his skills in the kitchen, but it isn't a new restaurant or a new show that has him in the news this time. It's actually because of his Maine coon cat, Nacho, that he's making headlines this week. Yep, you read that right. Nacho is stealing the show and by taking a page from his owner's book.
Launching a cat food brand by the name of Made by Nacho, the Food Network star and his Instagram-famous feline are taking the pet food industry by storm. The new line includes both cat food and treats, all of which have a balanced mix of ingredients that place emphasis on quality protein sources.
"We picked out thoughtful ingredients [like pumpkin, cranberry, and kale] that are flavorful and palatable for cats, but also helpful in other ways," Flay told PEOPLE.
What else can you expect your cat to be ingesting with this new line? Why, bone broth, of course! According to the celebrity chef, bone broth—which is super trendy for human consumption, if ya didn't know—is actually "very palatable for cats" because it's chock-full of protein and gives them extra hydration. Who knew?!
The new cat food line will be available nationwide beginning April 19 and can be found at PetSmart stores. And, in addition to helping cats all over, Bobby and Nacho Flay have started the Made By Nacho Charitable Fund at the New York Community Trust which has already provided a grant to animal welfare organizations EveryCat Health Foundation and Best Friends Animal Society.
