Each of the Queer Eye guys has their own unique charms and talents, from Tan France's no-nonsense demeanor to pretty much everything JVN does. But let's be honest: Bobby Berk is the unsung hero of the show. While Karamo is taking you for a drive to talk about your problems and Antoni is rifling through your fridge, Bobby is out here renovating your entire house, in less than a week.

In a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Bobby just revealed his personal highlight from the latest season, and it won't come as a surprise to fans of the show:

"Wesley was probably my favorite," he said, referring to Wesley Hamilton, the wheelchair user whose home was not at all suitable to his needs. Bobby made the entire house more wheelchair-friendly, an undertaking which included completely refitting the kitchen and making the bathroom bigger so Wesley could more easily get in and out. "Normally we don’t rip out an entire bathroom and build it from scratch," Bobby continued. "We don’t normally rip out an entire kitchen and build it from scratch."

"My designs always change people’s lives, but they don't hardcore change people’s lives," he said. "I was able to do that for Wesley. I was able to make his home completely accessible to him in every single way that it wasn’t before. I think that was a really great moment for me."

And the scope of the project meant that, for the first time, Bobby was given more than the standard four days to work his magic. "It was the only renovation in Queer Eye history that I got two weeks to do. Normally, I just have Tuesday to Friday. I got to put a lot of thought and a lot of love into it, and really plan it out and bring in a lot of people that knew a lot of things about ADA compliance that I didn’t. So it was great to work with different teams that in the past I’ve not been able to... I mean, [Wesley] had never seen his own reflection in his house before. So that was a really powerful moment, not just for him, but for the rest of us as well."
