Bluestone Lake Overlook brings a new view
HINTON, WV (WVNS) – The new viewing deck at Bluestone Lake is located next to the Almost Heaven Swing set at Bluestone Lake. Along with fresh grass and a cured concrete pathway, the overlook is the perfect place to stop and view the lake.
Park Superintendent, Frank Ratcliffe said Summers County is home to its own natural beauty.
“Our views in summers county make themselves. So, all we have to do is enhance the area a little bit,” said Ratcliffe.
New ‘Almost Heaven’ Swing Opens in Mercer County
The overlook project took around a year and a half to complete. While at the overlook, visitors can also snap a selfie at the ‘Almost Heaven’ swing set.
