Blue Ivy Is a Scene-Stealer in Beyoncé's "Making The Gift" Documentary for "The Lion King" Soundtrack

On September 16, ABC officially turned into ABeyC for the release of Beyoncé’s Making The Gift documentary. From TV to Twitter, the network pulled out all to stops to focus on Bey last night, but Yoncé wasn't the only star: her daughter Blue Ivy proved herself once again as a major scene-stealer.

Making The Gift, which documents Bey’s journey creating The Lion King: The Gift album, gave us an intimate look at the Carters’ adorable family dynamics and Bey’s creative process. It also showed that Blue, now seven, has what it takes (and more) to follow in her mother’s footsteps.

We’ve already seen Blue's choreographing skills. But the documentary, which showed multiple mother-daughter moments from Bey and Blue (we see them cheerfully playing the drums as well as lip-syncing and making their own home movie for "Mood 4 Eva" in style) only further cemented Blue’s already-proven star power.

There was one moment in particular that got the Beyhive stanning Bey’s eldest even harder: the behind-the-scenes look at Blue filming her vocals for “Brown Skin Girl” — the anthemic track released this summer in which Blue is not only featured but also credited as a songwriter. Talent.

It’s clear to see that viewers became instantly enchanted with Blue’s musical prowess watching the documentary. “Ok bro I’m crying, come on Blue!!” a fan wrote resharing the clip of Blue recording her vocals on Twitter. “Blue Ivy didn’t miss a note. A star,” a fan noted on Twitter after seeing her stellar performance.

And, I mean, what else did we expect from our favorite fashion icon?

“This shouldve [sic] been titled ‘Blue Ivy Presents Making the Gift’ because sis is giving me life,” someone wrote on Twitter. “It’s nice that Beyoncé’s manager Blue Ivy takes her on vacation from time to time,” another person tweeted. “Blue Ivy is coming for Beyoncé. Period,” someone finally added. We think there's room enough for the both of them.

And, well, Blue may be too young to announce a solo project just yet, but believe us, whether it comes in five or 10 or 15 years, we’ll surely be listening.
