Let's face it, we could all use more Sunday dinners, especially when Joe Hill (Will Hochman) joins the family at the table.

CBS confirmed that season 13 was a go back in April, but fans of the NYPD drama were eagerly awaiting a date for new episodes. We finally have that information, and it's not too far off. Blue Bloods season 13 will premiere on October 7. The show will air on Friday nights as usual.

The official Blue Bloods Instagram account shared the news with a photo of Tom Selleck as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan. The caption says, "Always listen to the person at the head of the table. #BlueBloods returns Friday, October 7th at 10/9c for an all-new season. We'll see you soon!"
