Blue Bloods celebrated it's 250th episode with well-deserved fanfare. After all, it's not common for a network TV show to reach its 12th season these days, and fans continue to want more from the Reagan family.

The show's stars commemorated the milestone with heartfelt messages for their fans. Tom Selleck, Marisa Ramirez, Len Cariou, Vanessa Ray, and Will Estes all added their words of gratitude, but Donnie Wahlberg put it best with this message: "Thank you to all the fans and viewers of 'Blue Bloods' for the last 12 years. As we celebrate our 250th episode, the fact that this could never have happened without your loyalty, love, and support is not lost on me. I thank and appreciate you and I'm so grateful that you're part of our TV family."

Of course, fans jumped to the comments section to show their support with comments like "You are family!! 😀Watching since first show !! Wishing all cast and crew continued good health and many more seasons ❤️🇨🇦❤️," "Need season 13 😉," and "I hope this show never ends! ❤️"

While we don't know what the future holds for Blue Bloods, we do know that there's more of season 12 to come. But, not this week.

Blue Bloods fans are accustomed to tuning in to CBS on Friday nights, but the show is taking a short break. There will not be a new episode on March 18 or March 25. The next new episode, called "Hidden Motive," will air on April 1 (and that's not an April Fool's joke!). Sports fans won't be surprised by the reason: The NCAA basketball tournament is airing on CBS, resulting in the schedule change.

If you're not caught up or want to rewatch your favorite episodes, all 12 seasons can be streamed on Paramount+.
